Sustainability

At Aza Laye, we honour the hands that create,
the land that gives, and the people who wear.

The Hands that Create

The Lands that Gives

The People Who Wear

Our pieces are made by hand in the Sahel, crafted by Touareg artisans using knowledge and techniques passed down through generations.

Aza Laye exists to preserve Touareg craft and heritage. The brand is co-owned by Touareg and offers stable, dignified work so that more Touareg craftsmen can support their families, honour their traditions, and continue their craft without the uncertainty that often surrounds traditional art forms and living.

Our pieces are made to last; they could have been worn a hundred years ago, or a hundred years from now. Simple, pure, and minimal; free from passing trends.

We are a young brand, still refining our processes, and every piece is made entirely by hand. Our goal is to work exclusively with recycled silver, and we welcome recommendations or collaborations with those who offer high-quality recycled silver available in West-Africa.

We are a brand born from contrast. We lie somewhere between rough and refined, modern and ancestral, between heat and cold, south and north.

Our pieces do not belong to one type of person; they belong to those who move between worlds.
